**Disclaimer: I wrote this post like two months ago… and just never posted it. My bad. Enjoy this blast from the pre-school stress past.**

For most of you, school has started again, so welcome back!
I may be in the minority when I say I am so excited for school. Like SO excited. Even though it’ll be easier for me to fall back into busyness bad habits, but this year brings about so many changes and so much peace for me. This year is minty fresh, and this outfit is too.
Today, I’m styling this entire outfit around this mint statement piece.
This outfit is all cool tones; essentially tones of grey and an accent of mint green.
Sweater: thrifted – Value Village
Jumpsuit skirt: Boutique in Hong Kong
Sandals: Birkenstock
Toque: thrifted – Value Village
Watch: Casio, thrifted – Strathcona parking lot sale
I didn’t really know what to call this thing… It’s a jumpsuit which has a skirt bottom and is cotton instead of the typical denim. It kind of resembles an apron HAHA, but I think that adds to its charm. And the pockets! Those are very charming indeed. I picked up this frock when I went to Hong Kong two years ago in Mong Kok.
I matched the silver hardware on the jumpsuit with my watch. (Although, the pop of gold on the face of the watch makes the warm tones from my Birks fit in a bit more.) I don’t think there’s too much need to separate silvers and golds, but it is a good fundamental thought to understand and then branch off from. I wore the sandals because I was going for a casual look, but they could easily be replaced with mules or other strappy sandals.

Summer’s definitely over, and it looks like fall is too. Look out for my fall lookbook that will hopefully exist and also winter layering outfits. I have lots of ideas, but let’s hope I can get to them. Thanks for sticking by me!
